Weeds Gone Wild: Alien Plant Invaders of Natural Areas is a web-based project of the Plant Conservation Alliance's Alien Plant Working Group, that provides information for the general public, land managers, researchers, and others on the serious threat and impacts of invasive alien (exotic, non-native) plants to the native flora, fauna, and natural ecosystems of the United States.

Enrollment Open in Virginia Tech's Executive Masters of Natural Resources Program

Virginia Tech's Executive Master of Natural Resources program engages a new generation of professionals to develop skills in leadership for sustainability. The program is an accelerated, non-residential graduate degree for working professionals with at least five years of management experience. Students include mid-level and senior executives in the public and private sectors throughout the Washington, DC region and beyond. Immediate program outcomes include organizational and policy changes while long-term outcomes include personal and cultural transformation.
