The Virginia Natural Resources Leadership Institute is launching an innovative pilot program - offering the celebrated program as individual three-day leadership workshops, each with a focus on current and difficult environmental issues. The workshops will be held in five locations throughout Virginia during 2012 and 2013.
Join this year’s cohort for just one session, or complete the entire program in three years to earn a VNRLI Certificate in Collaborative Leadership for Sustainability. Expand your network, sharpen your skills, and prepare to be challenged! Session 3: Richmond, January 9-11, 2013 Learn three phases of consensus building, “Six Thinking Hats” process, key leadership qualities. Stakeholder panels and field trips on the ethics of advocacy lobbying, Virginia’s Capitol, and current challenges in local government. Registration: Register by November 14, 2012, to attend this session. The cost is $750. This includes all materials and books, field trip transportation, all breaks, one dinner and at least one lunch at each session. Please note that this fee does NOT include additional meals, lodging, and travel related to each session.
