Low Impact Development Design Competition

Submission Deadline February 17, 2012

The competition is sponsored by the Friends of the Rap[ahannock, James River Association, and Potomac Conservancy and is funded by a grant from the NAtional Fish and Wildlife Foundation. First-place awards of $15,000 will be given for each of three design areas open for competition: suburban, mixed-use developmen; urban redevelopment; and green roadways.

Announcement of finalists will take place at the Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association's annual conference in March, and the winners will be announced at the Environment Virginia Symposium in Lexington in April.
