Over the past 30 years the regulatory status of landscape architects has been threatened at various times through proposed deregulation. And, potential threats are looming down the road. The VAASLA has determined that maintaining a relationship with a lobbyist is the best approach to proactively protecting our licenses, our scope of practice, and our businesses.

We can no longer rely solely on the efforts of volunteers. The VAASLA needs YOUR help to continue our relationship with McGuire Woods Consulting, one of the most effective lobbying firms in Virginia, to ensure a high level of vigilance and to make our voice and values heard in the General Assembly.
