Richmond Women in Design Seek Volunteers for Community Service Project

Richmond Women in Design will be joining Storefront for Community Design for an outreach event held at William Byrd Community House, their First Annual Outreach Service Project "Renovation Station". The outreach will include the neighborhoods of Oregon Hill, Randolph and Lakeview.

Storefront is a non-profit volunteer organization that assists homeowners, organizations and businesses throughout the city of Richmond with design advice and education for their architectural, interior design, engineering, landscaping and graphics needs. William Byrd Community House is an organization that assists families in need of child care, education and food assistance, etc. William Byrd Community House is a central part of the neighborhoods that we will be servicing and is also of service to the city of Richmond through their child care facility. If you are interested in volunteering, Storefront will be conducting volunteer training Saturday, September 15 from 10:00 until 12:00
at Storefront's downtown location 205-207 East Broad Street for the RWiD's volunteers and overseeing the process on the day of the event. A light breakfast will be provided.

The main event will be held on the afternoon of October 6^th from 2:00 to 5:00.
