In 2000, Brian Katen and Ben Johnson applied to the National Chapter of the ASLA for funds to help support the construction of this web page. As President of the Chapter in 2001, Brian accomplished the establishment of this web page, with a permanent web mistress and server independent of the Virginia Chapter membership.

2001 – 2002

In 2001, Amy Arnold and Brian Katen applied to the National Chapter of the ASLA for funds to help continue the development of the annual theme initiative by matching Chapter funds in support of the three annual publications. The first of the three publications, ‘Strategic Infrastructure: Storm Water’ is scheduled to be mailed to the membership and others in February of 2002.
