The white paper was prepared by the Virginia Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA Virginia) with support provided by the Potomac Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA Potomac), the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), and the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB).
ASLA Virginia Government Affairs Committee member Robert McGinnis, PLA, FASLA, was the lead preparer of this white paper and was supported by members of the ASLA Virginia Government Affairs Committee including Billy Almond, PLA, FASLA, Chair, and Kevin Bayes, Chapter Executive Director. ASLA National staff members that contributed to the white paper include Elizabeth Hebron, Director, State Government Affairs, and Bradley Rawls, Manager, State Government Affairs.
